What Is Gel X?
Gel-X is a soft gel nail extension- the first created in the world! It is a full coverage tip made of soft gel, available in various shapes and sizes ranging from extra short to 3XL. It is adhered with extend gel, through a quick and easy process. It is thin yet durable, making your set natural looking and long lasting.
There are no harsh chemicals used as with acrylic, making it much healthier for your natural nails and leaving you with no damage! It can last 3-4 weeks with no lifting, but has been proven to last up to 2 months! Its soft gel formula allows for a convenient soak off, and strong nails underneath. Gel X has been taking over the nail game with its ability to produce sets that look just as neat and complex as acrylic, but is less time consuming, more natural looking, lightweight, healthy and long lasting!
Gel X or Acrylic ?
Wondering if you should book a gel-x or acrylic set? The choice is completely up to you! I usually tell my clients, if you’re getting any one color solid full set, or shorties, I always recommend getting gel x. It’s quick, simple, and natural looking with the thin but durable gel-x tips. If you’re getting any set with hand drawn designs, bling, charms, etc, you can always get gel-x as well! The only time I would say acrylic is a must have, is if you would like a set with a lot of encapsulations. In this case, acrylic would be best to properly encapsulate all of your desired decals, glitters, etc. Other than that, pretty much any set can be done as gel x and it will look just as amazing!
